History, Purpose and Mission of the
Zeta Phi Beta Sigma Times

The Zeta Phi Beta Sigma Times is one of the oldest and most influential greek websites on the net. The site is an outgrowth of the Delta Mu Chapter website, which once carried national and regional news for the entire fraternity prior to the establishment of this site. Since December of 1996, the Times has continued to be a source of the positive image of Zeta and Sigma on the internet, a very valuable recruiting tool for Sigma and Zeta, and most importantly, a positive example of what black greek letter organizations are supposed to be about.

With a new millennium, the Times must grow and change to accommodate the needs of the African-American community, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. As such, the Times exists for the following purposes:

The Times is funded primarily out of Bro. Gilliard's pocket- the space is donated graciously by Soror Shanice White from meetgreeks.com. Monetary donations from frat and sorors for the maintenance of this site are welcomed, but not necessary.

As of 3/28/00, The Times is staffed by:

Bro. Kerry Gilliard (Webmaster, Content Designer)

Bro. Eric Luna (Links Manager)

Soror Lynnette Coulter (List Moderator, Discussion Board Moderator, Corresponding Secretary)

Soror Frances Lewis (Discussion Board Moderator)

Bro. Ahab El' Askeni (Historian, Staff Writer)
